We are one of the four clubs that make up Portsmouth racquet. We have regular weekly sessions for people of all skill levels in order to help all members improve and have fun. We compete in BUCS and a local league and are planning to set up a league within the university so that everyone can get to experience the competitive side of badminton.

Come and join the Portsmouth University's Badminton Society for the fastest racket sport in the world!

Weekly sessions

- Tuesdays 5.30-7.30pm at St Pauls gym– society social session (everyone)

- Fridays 5.30 to 6.30pm at St Pauls gym (everyone)

- Sundays 3.00- 4.30pm, at Charter Academy sports centre – team training session (finalised team only)

{Starts as of 2nd October}

We have four men’s teams and one women’s team. The women’s team and two of the men’s teams compete in BUCS leagues against other universities, the men’s third and fourth team play in a local league against clubs around Portsmouth.

Whether your a county level player or have never picked up a racquet before, the sessions available will help people to improve and enjoy badminton. We also join up with the other racquet clubs on a regular basis for nights out and other events which are always good fun and a great way to meet new people and have a good time.

Membership is set at £60 for the year for social players and £85 for team.

Membership is set at £30 if joining us for half a year.
