Whether you are an experienced shooter, a novice or just someone wanting to try something new, come along and try Clay Pigeon Shooting! We are run by a mixture of students with different abilities in many disciplines within this exciting and interesting sport. We want to expand the ability of those who are current shooters and help those who have never shot to pick up a new sport!

Our membership fee is FREE and includes:

• Annual membership to the Clay Pigeon Shooting Society.

• Invitation to subsequent shoots and regular socials.

For those who wish to try and take their shooting further we also compete in the Annual BUCS Clay Pigeon Shooting Competition and the Oxford Gun Company Universities Challenge. We hope to take as many as we can to represent the society against competing universities, including for the first year organising our participation in the Varisty VS Southampton. We also look forward to exploring some of the many different disciplines in clay shooting and will be encouraging a bit of friendly competition between our members. Furthermore we aim to hold a shooting practice at least once a month, which could increase as we lead towards bigger competitions, predominantly at Southdown Gun Club. As a society we would also like to explore the chance of travelling to different grounds around the country and we are also considering a foreign shooting trip in Cyprus.

We are a welcoming society and this year we will be holding regular socials. For further details relating to events and socials, please view our Facebook page!
