Our Aim
The Geography Society is one of the biggest societies on campus and it is a great way to meet other people on Geography related courses or just if you have an interest in Geography. We are a very active, friendly and inclusive society.

Socials
We organise monthly themed socials, and the first one this year is white t-shirt on the 4th October, so don’t forget your sharpies! Alongside these, we have an annual Christmas dinner and an end of year ball (Globall).

This year our annual Geog Soc European tour will be Budapest for a short city break from November 23rd - 26th. Our annual trip is the chance to form memories with many current and new members, whilst experiencing everything Budapest has to offer, from the many clubs and pubs, to the monuments rich in cultural history. Many of our alumni and current members say that the annual trip is one of their top experiences whilst at University. Check out Luka’s blog post about our trip to Amsterdam last year to have a look at what we got up to!

For further details about the annual trip please send a message to the Geog Soc society facebook page and we will be happy to help!
GeogSoc is a free society to join so click the link to join now and check us out on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with our socials!
