About Us

The Re-enactment Society is a platform where anyone can get hands on experience and training in historical re-enactment, complete with weapons. Our main trainer is both founder of the society and an officer in the Sealed Knot, an English Civil War charity, so you will be in safe hands learning with us. But that’s not all, we can get other trainers in and connect with other groups to get even more off-the-wall adventures.

If you would like to try something a bit different, find out first hand what being in a battle feels like, meet new friends for life, or even get a bit more active then join today! Memberships are only £10!!!!

We hold many events throughout the year which you can keep up to date with on our facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/UPRSoc/

We train weekly on Monday evenings, with a trip to the local pub to unwind afterwards! We meet inside Portland Building at 7-9pm on Monday.
