"What's Softball?"

Softball is similar to baseball, the main difference being a larger ball and slow pitching style. The team is unique in being a mixed sport so is available for anyone to play. The membership fee for the society is £65.  

You don't need experience to play softball with us, as you'll be taught everything you need to know about the sport. We compete regularly both indoor and outdoor, giving those who want to play both competitively and recreationally a chance to get involved throughout the whole year.  

This past season we played in two National University Softball Championships and came 2nd in both, as well as being undefeated for two seasons so far in our local league, the Solent Softball League. 

Our main interest is giving you the ability to meet new people and have a good time, whilst developing skills and also having regular socials.

Indoor training will be Saturdays from 10am-12pm and outdoor are weather dependent, with times to be confirmed on social media. Any questions, comments and concerns can be directed to our society email:
