If you’re looking for a unique sport that will develop not only physical fitness but also self-confidence, look no further. Tae Kwon-do consists of 3 parts; the traditional martial art, the competitive sport aspect and self-defence. As we have black belts from different training backgrounds, we cater to both ITF and WTF styles. This enables students to draw from a wide pool of knowledge, from technical ability to sparring skills or self-defence proficiency. We’re a friendly group with a wide range of abilities, from complete beginners to experienced black belts.
We train as one group, incorporating a range of difficulties to suit all members. Although TKD is an individual sport, we work as a team to support each and every member on their individual path to self improvement.
Throughout the year there will be chances to compete and grade with help from outside instructors. As a martial art thats considered a sport we are part of the Athletic Union, which means every year we go on the AU tour to Spain for a week long social in the sun.
